I’ll be honest, there are many days I feel incredibly insecure about my writing. I question my ability, my voice, and sometimes even the calling itself. Discouragement creeps in often, whispering doubts that make me wonder if I should even continue. But deep down, I have to hold onto this truth: God led me to write. And if what I share carries His words, then I must believe there’s a purpose in it all.
If that purpose brings Glory to Him and Blesses even one reader, then every sacrifice, every late night, every moment of frustration and self-doubt becomes worth it.
I’ve been M.I.A. lately, and I wanted to explain why. I just started a new job, and I’m in week two of learning an entirely new system, new software, new routines, new expectations. It’s been overwhelming, to say the least. By the time I get home, I’m physically and mentally drained. And as much as I want to check in on you; my amazing subscribers, friends, and extended family, I often find myself falling behind.
But please know this: not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I carry your kindness and support with me always. You are deeply loved and faithfully prayed for.
I also want to take a moment to express sincere gratitude to Jolene, known to many as Chico’s Mom. She not only purchased a copy of The Latter Times of Being Crazy for Christ, but also took the time to read it and leave a heartfelt, uplifting review (Above). Her words reminded me of why I chose to share my story in the first place.
Everyone’s walk with Christ looks a little different, but no matter the path, the destination is the same: without Jesus, we are lost.
Her understanding of the message, her kindness, and her encouragement touched me in ways I can’t fully express. I’m humbled that God allowed this book to reach her heart, and I give Him all the glory.
