A Journey of Gratitude and Grace
I find no words to truly say,
Though “Thank you” feels so small today.
When I began this path on WordPress,
I never dreamed of such a Blessed process.
It’s not the likes, nor the numbers that I see,
But the love, the kindness, the bond between you and me.
It’s the friendships built, the hearts that care,
The warmth that fills the space we share.
For years, I’ve longed for Recognition,
Not just for words, but for my mission,
To be seen, to belong, to fit in the flow,
To not feel like an outsider, lost in the shadows.
I’ve wandered through life, just seeking the light,
Lost in the dark, looking for what’s right.
But in 2017, a shift took place
God reached for me, in His tender grace.
Instead of pushing Him far away,
I grabbed His hand and chose to stay.
Since that day, He’s never let go,
And I walk beside Him, through high and low.
Many of us face this same kind of fight,
We call on God in our darkest night,
But when the storm is gone, we drift away,
Telling God, “I’ve got this, I’m okay.”
But God is not a wish granter, nor a fleeting call,
He’s the Alpha and Omega, the One over all.
We need to return to the days of true fear,
Where respect for Him was always near.
I’m no saint, I’ve faltered more than I’d care to admit,
But honesty with God is where the healing begins to fit.
If we can’t face the truth, if we hide in pride,
We only build the walls that keep us inside.
And yet, amidst these struggles and days of doubt,
Came you, my friends, my family, who showed me what love’s about.
Your kindness, your gentleness, a gift so rare,
Like the hugs of those I’ve lost, still felt in the air.
My Grandma, my Dad, they live in my heart,
But in you, I’ve found new souls to be a part.
I never expected this, this sense of belonging,
But here you are, and it feels like a song,
A melody of grace, of shared understanding,
Together we stand, forever expanding.
So to all 400 of you, my loyal friends,
Thank you for walking with me, as this journey never ends.
It’s not just the words, the posts, or the praise,
But the love we share that fills my days.
From the depths of my heart, I thank you all,
For catching me when I stumble, for answering the call.
