“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.“
– Corrie ten Boom
“If you can’t trust God with everything, you can’t trust Him with anything.“
Truly embracing God’s guidance is the key to a spiritually enriched life. It’s about leaning wholeheartedly into His wisdom, goodness, and abundant blessings. Complete trust means letting go of the reins, knowing that His plans are crafted for our ultimate well-being, even if they seem beyond our comprehension. Any hesitation only weakens the bond of trust. It’s about unwavering faith in His guidance and provision, especially when life’s twists and turns leave us bewildered. Entrusting every facet of our existence to God reflects a deep-seated belief in His unwavering care for us, no matter what challenges we face. And in this trust, we find not just solace, but the freedom to live authentically, knowing we’re supported by a higher power that transcends our understanding.
Truly embracing God’s guidance is akin to setting sail on an unknown sea, trusting in the unseen wind to carry us towards our destined shores. It’s about immersing ourselves fully in His boundless wisdom, recognizing the depth of His goodness, and embracing the richness of His blessings showered upon us. Complete trust in God demands that we relinquish the illusion of control, acknowledging that His plans, though often veiled in mystery, are intricately woven for our ultimate fulfillment.
Every pause in our trust in God’s care loosens the weave of our faith, much like a thread unraveling at its edges. Yet, it’s precisely in the midst of life’s bewildering twists and turns that our resolve is tested most profoundly. It’s during these times of uncertainty that unwavering faith in God’s guidance becomes our steadfast anchor, steadying us amidst the stormy seas of doubt.
To surrender every aspect of our lives to God is to place our hands in His, trusting in His unfailing love and provision for us. It’s like stepping onto a tightrope with eyes closed, knowing that He will guide each step with unwavering precision. And within this trust, we discover not just solace, but a profound sense of liberation—the freedom to live authentically, empowered by the knowledge that we are upheld by a divine force whose wisdom transcends our understanding.
Philippians 4:6-7 – New International Version – (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This verse advises believers not to succumb to anxiety or worry about anything. Instead, it encourages them to pray to God in all situations, presenting their needs and concerns with a spirit of thanksgiving. By doing so, believers can experience a profound peace from God that surpasses human understanding, guarding their hearts and minds against fear and doubt, especially when they remain rooted in their faith in Christ Jesus. In essence, it highlights the power of prayer, gratitude, and trust in God’s provision to bring about a sense of peace amidst life’s challenges.
Psalm 37:5 – English Standard Version – (ESV)
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.

This verse encourages believers to entrust their plans, desires, and paths to the Lord, demonstrating unwavering trust in His faithfulness and ability to bring about what is best for them. It emphasizes the reciprocal nature of trust, suggesting that as we commit ourselves to God, He will act on our behalf.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 – English Standard Version – (ESV)
” 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

This passage encourages believers to place their full trust in God, relinquishing their reliance on their own understanding. By submitting to God in all aspects of life, one can experience His guidance and direction, leading to a straight and righteous path.
Isaiah 26:3-4 – English Standard Version – (ESV)
3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

This passage emphasizes the profound peace that comes from trusting God wholeheartedly. It encourages believers to maintain unwavering trust in God, recognizing Him as an unshakeable foundation.
“Faith means living with uncertainty – feeling your way through life, letting your heart guide you like a lantern in the dark.”
– Dan Millman
Let Us Pray …

“Heavenly Father,
In your infinite wisdom and love, you call us to trust in you completely. Today, we come before you with open hearts, seeking to surrender every aspect of our lives into your hands.
Lord, help us to rely on you entirely, recognizing your goodness, wisdom, and provision in all circumstances. Grant us the strength to surrender control, knowing that your plans for us are always for our ultimate good, even when we cannot comprehend them.
Forgive us for the times when we have held back in trusting you fully. May we overcome our doubts and fears, placing our faith in your unfailing guidance and care.
As we journey through life, may our trust in you deepen, like roots reaching for water, unshaken by the storms that may come. May we find peace in knowing that you are our unchanging Rock, our source of strength and stability.
Father, we thank you for the countless blessings you have bestowed upon us, and we trust that you will continue to sustain us, no matter the challenges we face.
In Jesus Name, we Pray,
Amen.”

“Complete trust in God demands that we relinquish the illusion of control, acknowledging that His plans, though often veiled in mystery, are intricately woven for our ultimate fulfillment.” Dear friend, I’ve saved this post so I can re-read, ponder, pause, and pray. It’s a treasure trove of truth and gold nuggets! I love the descriptions of the verses too. Today my devotion was about letting go of control. “Lord, keep me in your will, so I won’t be in your way. Remind me lord, I’m just a glove, in which you place your hand, not my will, but thine be done…🎶🎶🎶 Do not be anxious. I’m doing a plan by Dr. Jeremiah and he wrote, “worry and anxiety deal with what-ifs and could-bes, speculation, and possibility. And as long as we dwell on the worst-case scenario, we guarantee our own misery, for an extensive catalog of calamity is always within reach of the imagination.” I love the parallels and examples you used. I trust God completely. Your faith, love, and enthusiasm for Christ is inspiring! Thank you so much! God bless you! 🙏🏻❤️

My Dear Sister, I am in awe of your comment and so grateful for the way God is moving in our lives. Your insight about trusting God and letting go of control is such a powerful reminder. It’s amazing how His plans, though often mysterious, are designed for our ultimate fulfillment.
I love the phrase “I’m just a glove in which you place your hand” what a beautiful picture of surrender. I mean, can you just picture that phrase, it’s absolutely beautiful. Your devotion sounds inspiring, especially Dr. Jeremiah’s take on anxiety. It’s so true that dwelling on “what-ifs” can lead us away from peace.
Thank you so much for Visiting, Reading and Commenting. God’s Continued Blessings to you, today and always.

Great Post, Willie. Trust is everything to Jesus. But we must grow in the trials. We come out each time with a deeper knowledge of His goodness and love for us and trust grows. We have to learn to be patient with ourselves and trust Him to lead us on. It is ours to obey and follow Him.
I love the song. Boy, can they sing! 🎵

Yes they were good but wait.
I have a second part to this and I’m including the worship team at a church we attended not to long ago. The worship team sang this same song and it had me in tears. And towards the end, one of the singers spoke a very powerful message. I think you are going to love the song and the message.
God Bless You today and always and have a Blessed Weekend.

So many of us have trust issues. While it may be hard to place your complete trust in someone, it can be extremely satisfying and rewarding when you’re able to just let go of all your anxiety and fears. I enjoyed your prayer at the end as well. Thanks for sharing.

Trusting in God can indeed be challenging, especially when we’re used to holding onto our anxieties and fears. But as you mentioned, letting go and placing our trust in Him can bring incredible peace and fulfillment.
I’m also pleased to hear that you found the prayer meaningful. It’s my hope that it provides comfort and encouragement as we navigate our trust issues.

Very inspiring words, Willie!! It reminded me of a very encouraging sentence I heard once, which clearly alludes to trust in God: “You take one step of courage, and you receive a thousand steps of help from the Father.” Thanks for sharing and for keeping reminding us of Higher Trust! Trusting in God is both easy and difficult. Difficult to set our human urges to control aside. Easy once we figure out that we have no worries when we submit and follow God’s plan. Great post, Willie.

Absolutely, trusting in God can be challenging when we want to control everything ourselves, but it becomes easier when we let go and follow His plan. The trials and difficult times we face often build our faith by teaching us to rely on God more deeply and trust in His wisdom. These experiences can strengthen our relationship with Him and deepen our understanding of His grace.
Thank you Mary for Visiting, reading and Commenting, and Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Thank you so much for Visiting, Reading and Commenting and Thank you so much for your encouragement and support.
Trusting in God can be incredibly challenging, especially when we’re facing trials, struggles, fears, and worries. Yet, without Him, what else do we have to Hope for? When we commit ourselves fully to trusting God, we embark on an extraordinary journey with Him. As you stated, there truly is no middle ground; it’s all or nothing.
Your feedback means a lot, and I’m grateful for your shared commitment to our Lord.
Thank you for your kindness and for you kind words and for standing firm in faith. and showing us how to stand firm in Him, with Him.

Hey Willie, thank you for this word, so many times we forget that we do not walk through this life alone, but that God walks with us. Some of those verses remind me of my dad because of the things he spoke to me so many years ago.

Dear Sister, I truly understand and share in your pain. This year has been filled with trials and challenges that often left me questioning, “God, where are You? How can You allow this to happen?” Trusting in God and waiting for His timing is never easy, but the reward for our Faith and Patience is truly worth it.
The crucial question is whether we will Trust in God, whether we will have Faith that He is with us and will never forsake us. In these moments, all we can do is Hope and Trust in His promises.
God Bless you today and always. Thank you so much for Visiting, Reading, and Commenting.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
—Romans 8:28 ESV
The Lord promises that He makes all things, everything good and evil, work for the good of His believing children. Jesus said if we love Him we do what he tells us to do. Willie’s post affirms that trust in the Lord is key to peace and I couldn’t agree more. Everything will be ok promises Jesus, trust Him.
Recall the story of Joseph. Genesis 50:20 sums it up well.
May the Lord give you the wisdom to do His will 🙏

I love this Willie, brilliant 🙏
Such a wonderful message of TRUST in the Lord.. so critical
Imagine watching a man jumping over a huge 300 foot pit
of fire on his motorcycle. And let’s say you watched him do it for hours in amazement that he keeps racing towards the fire and each time jumps it and lands safely on the other side. It blows your mind.
Now, imagine he rides up to you and asks you if you think he can do it again. You say yes because you saw him do it over and over. What if he then says right, get on and let’s go do it together! Would you jump on ?
There’s a difference between believing and trusting.
Well done Willie! Such an important message you’ve sent out here 👍👍
Glory to God ✝️
