After seeing everyone’s posts about their top 10 favorite movies today, I couldn’t resist sharing ours too. Leo and I have a bit of an diverse taste, and while it might raise a few eyebrows, these are the films we’ve watched over and over—more than 10 times each—and can still enjoy as if we’re watching them for the first time.
I hope you find this list as entertaining as we do. Enjoy the movies, and may your popcorn be buttery and your viewing experience cozy.
Peace, Love, and Buttered Popcorn 🍿.
A Cinematic Adventure with Leo and Me
In the shadowed city where the crows do fly,
Leo and I watch as the dark wings cry.
With a vengeance so strong and a story so bold,
The Crow it’s haunting tale is worth more than gold.

Next up, The Lost Boys with their wild, youthful spree,
In the night’s cool embrace, they’re forever free.
Leo and I groove to their vampire delight,
Chasing the moon through the long, thrilling night.

Top Gun takes flight with Maverick’s high chase,
Leo and I cheer for the fast-paced race.
Jets in the sky, and danger in the air,
With every cool maneuver, we’re right there.

In the dojo, with Mr. Miyagi’s wise creed,
The Karate Kid learns and grows with great speed.
Leo and I, with our kicks and our stance,
Find inner peace in every martial arts dance.

The Breakfast Club, a group of diverse friends,
With their secrets and stories, the fun never ends.
Leo and I laugh at their teenage strife,
Reliving the day that changed their school life.

Among the stars, with battles so grand,
We journey through galaxies, lightsaber in hand.
Leo and I are Jedi with every new quest,
In the saga of Star Wars, we always invest.

The Wanderers roam the Bronx’s streets,
In ’63, where rival gangs meet.
Preparing for a rumble’s fierce test,
Leo and I watch the youth’s unrest.
In the shadow of fights, change takes its place,
And each must confront their shifting fate.

In the Grease of the ‘50s, where romance is king,
Leo and I dance and let our hearts sing.
With Danny and Sandy, and a summer so bright,
Grease turns our memories into pure delight.

The Passion of the Christ, a story so profound,
Leo and I reflect as emotions abound.
A journey of sacrifice, love so immense,
In its powerful message, we find recompense.

Last but not least, the racers blaze the night,
In The Fast and The Furious, they’re ready for the fight.
Leo and I watch as engines roar and thrill,
Facing change and challenges, with adrenaline to spill.

So here’s to these films, each a unique grace,
With Leo by my side, we embrace every place.
From the dark to the light, from the old to the new,
Our movie adventure is always renewed.

Peace, Love and Buttered Popcorn and SnowCaps.

Yeah this prompt was a little to easy but I could have easily added so many more. To narrow it down to just ten was the hard part.

I’ve seen most, but not all of these. The Crow, The Lost Boys, Karate Kid, Grease and The Breakfast Club are up there on my list of favorites. Fabulous story, poem and visuals, Willie! 🙏

I love all your choices except maybe Karate Kid and The Fast and Furious. I used to love watching that one before Paul Walker died, because after it was like Vin used his memory to just keep making more and more, when they should have stopped right there. Pretty soon they’re going to be like Jason Voorhees and end up in space 🚀 🤣🤣
Do you plan on watching the new Crow remake with the Skarsgard guy from IT in it?
LikeLiked by 3 people
They did do the space one 😂😂. I think it was #7 or #8. That is why I sued the first one. I liked up to #3. The rest were just to ridiculous. And the original Karate Kid was one of my favorites (My wife would say it’s because of Elisabeth Shue, 😱, no comment 😂😂.
I will have to watch it, but none of them are as good as the original; Brandon Lee made that movie.
Thank You for Reading and Commenting.
I actually could not pass this one up.
Hope you liked it.
And instead of using the movie pictures, I wanted to bring Leo into it and make it fun .🦁🤗🎥🍿

The way you put this to poems is very cool. The pics rock too but I thought you didn’t like movies that were not in English? The Crow is a fav of mine too.

Thanks Brother. This was another fun post. I had to get into this prompt like everyone else. And the poetry was a lot of fun .
English? I think I misunderstood you on your post. Definitely has to be English, if it’s a foreign language I can’t get into it. Even Spanish movies (I am Spanish) I can’t get into.
The Crow is my all-time favorite. I actually have a sort of tattoo of it. And yes, I even have the Vinyl Album (Of Course I would😁).
Thanks for Reading and Commenting. Glad you liked it. 👍🏻🍿🎥🤗

I loved the crow!! Idk if the new one coming out this month will live up to the original….

I highly doubt it. I’m obviously going to watch it but they can never outbeat Brandon Lee.
Thank for Visiting, Reading and Commenting.

Alright brother, I like a few of yours too. Not many things beat buttered popcorn and a great movie! A few of mine: Miracles From Heaven, Fools Rush In, Titanic, Angel Eyes, City of Angels, It Could Happen To You! 💛🙏

🤗 I see you like the Romantic movies. Yeah although I knew this was an easy prompt to pass up, it was harder to narrow it down to just 10, so I went with the movies that I watched more than 10 times.
Plus I had to incorporate Leo into this since Leo is so loved my many.
Thank You for Reading and Commenting and for sharing your list.
God Bless You Dear Sister. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

😁😁 I Have to make it enjoyable. These are all out of my comfort zone, but as my Dear Sister Beverly tells me, God never said we should not have fun.. And of course, Leo had to get into the whole scheme of it because He has become a Beloved figure. He has overtaken my Blog Page 🤣🤣.
Thank you so much For Reading and for your Wonderful Comment. I’m so Happy that you liked the Post.
Love and Hugs to you and Finn. You are Dearly Loved.

We often have this image and idea that we have to be very serious around the Lord. That we can’t laugh or have a sense of humor, but if we look at Psalm 37:4, it tells us to Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. The word “delight” refers to experiencing great pleasure or giving intense enjoyment. So it is ok to have fun as long as you are doing it with Love and Respect. It took me nearly 40 plus years to learn this.

Brandon Lee was amazing. What happened to him was sad and tragic. 🥺
I can’t believe Vin and his “family” took those cars into space. 🤦🏼♀️🤣
I always try to read and comment when WP will let me. I thought you did great. 🙏🏼

Yes, what happened to Brandon Lee and to his Father was unbelievable, makes you wonder if Brandon’s shooting was really an accident. Guess after all this time, we may never know the truth.
Yes, the Fast movies have gotten a bit ridiculous, I guess after 10 movies, they were running out of ideas.
Thank you so much Sis.

I love all of those movies too, except I don’t think I have seen The Wanderer! I would add The Wizard of Oz, Saturday Night Fever, Boogie Nights, The Big Chill, Sideways, The Big Lebowski, Roadhouse, Dirty Dancing, and Ghost to the list for me.
LikeLiked by 3 people
Ghost and Saturday Night Fever were so close.
The Wanderers came out just a few months after Warriors . Warriors was still so big that it took alot of spotlight away from The Wanderers. This movie had some good music but aside of that, it became one of my favorites. You would need to watch it, I’m sure you will like it.

Yeah, a bit, surprisingly I love and enjoy Dramas more, but the only one that came to mind at the spare of the moment was Cocktails. I love some of the older Brat Pack classics like Some Kind of Wonderful, St. Elmo’s Fire, The Outsiders, Pretty in Pink and so on.. I’m telling you; I could have easily done this post all day . 🤣😁👍

I actually enjoyed the first 2 parts. After that, the series of movies just got ridiculous. It’s a shame that Paul Walker died a horrific death at such an early age. The movies were just not the same without him.

I haven’t seen “The Wanderers,” but the rest are great!

The Wanderers is one of my all-time favorite movies. Despite its brilliance, it didn’t receive the recognition it truly deserved, largely because it was overshadowed by the release of The Warriors just a few months earlier. While The Warriors grabbed the spotlight with its depiction of gang life, The Wanderers offered a unique and compelling look at 1950s gangs. I’ve probably watched it about ten times, and each viewing feels as fresh and captivating as the first.
Thank you so much for Reading and Commenting.
