Recognition 5

Revised Edition Part Five

Today, I am continuing with part 5 of a profound journey, one that delves into a topic we all grapple with: Recognition. It’s a journey that challenges us to let the Holy Spirit transform our hearts, guiding us away from the pitfalls of seeking Recognition solely for ourselves. The pursuit of self-Recognition often leads us astray, fostering pride and diverting us from true humility and service. Let’s explore together how we can navigate this complex terrain with Grace and Wisdom.

If you missed the first and second part, I encourage you to go back to the beginning (Here) , Part One (Here) , Part Two (Here) Part Three and (Here), Part Four; before continuing with this section. As mentioned earlier, we are delving into a lengthy and profound topic, one that I trust will resonate with you and inspire a transformation in your life. I firmly believe this message is divinely inspired, and my sole desire is that it touches hearts and minds as intended—without seeking any Recognition for myself.

Recognition Part Five

When we are persecuted, judged, or laughed at, how do we respond? It is natural to feel anger, frustration, and a desire to defend ourselves. However, our response must be rooted in love rather than in anger. We can fight back by being loving, compassionate, and understanding. We can show them that we are willing to forgive and that there is no need for hostility. We can show them that love is more powerful than any judgement or persecution. We can demonstrate that our love is unconditional and that it is stronger than any negative emotions they may be feeling. We can choose to love them more and more, no matter what they may do or say. In doing so, we will not only be showing them our strength, but also sending a message of hope and peace to the world.

Growing up, I heard the phrase “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me” more times than I can remember. It was a phrase that was often used to help children cope with the idea that hurtful words, while they may sting, can never actually cause any physical harm.

We all want respect, love, and appreciation, especially from the people closest to us–our parents, brothers, sisters, spouses, and even our children. But this isn’t always easy to come by. In fact, it is often one of the most difficult things to obtain. We may do everything right, yet still be met with indifference or even hostility. This can be incredibly discouraging, especially if we are already struggling with self-esteem issues. We may start to doubt our own worth, assuming that if these people don’t value us, then we must not be worth anything. This is not the case at all. We must remember that our worth and value come from within, not from the opinions of those around us. Even if the people closest to us don’t show us the respect, love, and appreciation we desire, we can still strive to love and appreciate ourselves.

The truth is, being a Christian is no easy task. Just because someone gives their life to Jesus Christ does not mean that all of the sudden life will be perfect, and all their worries and problems will disappear. The Bible and church tradition may both serve as guides for living a good Christian life, but neither of them makes any promises of an easy life. Rather, they provide support and strength for believers to keep going through the toughest of times. Being a Christian requires faith, perseverance, and courage; it is not a path of ease, but rather a path of spiritual growth and development. The rewards of being a Christian may not always be immediately apparent, but they are certainly worth the effort.

However, it is important to remember that Jesus faced immense trials and tribulations on our behalf and should serve as an example to us of how-to-live-in-faith. Despite the criticism and mockery that He faced, Jesus never wavered in His commitment to God and His mission. He never shied away from speaking the truth and telling people about the Words of God.

Matthew 27:29 – New American Standard Bible – (NASB)
And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

But Jesus made it clear that if we want to follow Him, we must be willing to accept the consequences. We must be willing to stand up for our faith and be unashamed of the gospel. We must put our trust in the Lord, knowing that He will never forsake us and that He has a plan for our lives.

By taking the time to pray, talk to God, and pay attention to our life activities, we can ensure that we are honoring Him in all we do. This is something that we should strive to do more of, as it is a great way to show our appreciation for all that He has done for us.

“…However, it is important to remember that Jesus faced immense trials and tribulations on our behalf and should serve as an example to us of how-to-live-in-faith…”

This line gave me a thought about how as children, our parents took the brunt of any trial that came our way; teaching us that when the time came, we would be able to do the same for our own children.

Jesus, having taken our trials and tribulations, gives us the ability to do the same for those that come under our leadership, to bring them up to a sense of maturity that they may also be able to be a defense to those who will come under them as well.

This is good insight, brother. God bless.

Thank you for Reading and Commenting. I hope you enjoyed this story, teaching, study or just a Blessed Word, and the ones before it. We’re nearing the end of Recognition, and it’s been a truly enriching journey. I feel Blessed to have shared this with all of you.

Thank you for sharing your insight. Your comparison between Jesus’ sacrifices and how parents prepare children really makes sense to me.

Jesus faced incredibly difficult challenges, showing us what faith and strength look like. His example teaches us how to grow stronger in our faith, especially when life is tough. Your idea about parents protecting children from difficulties is also powerful. Jesus carried our burdens so we could learn and become stronger in our faith, which helps us support others too.

Thinking about Jesus’ life reminds us how important it is to guide others in their faith journeys, sharing wisdom and helping them stay strong. Your thoughts inspire me to follow Jesus’ example of love and care for others in their faith.

May God Bless Us as we walk in His footsteps.

God Bless You today and always.

It is nice to read about a subject most do not want to talk about. I believe we grow in learning how to suffer. The first time we fall apart and complain and hurt. The Lord waits patiently by until we calm down and know it is not the end of us. Then the next time we do better and better until we learn and are filled more and more with His strength and power. We have to learn how to draw our strength from Him. Persecution will never be easy. Our eyes have to be on Him and off ourselves. Good Post!

I’m so sorry to hear you had a disappointing time at church. It should be a place of peace, joy, and love, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case. I’ve visited several churches over the past few years for the same reason. What’s happening in churches today can be disheartening. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers tonight. Stay strong and remember, the evil one is trying to lead you astray and play mind games. Don’t let him make you think you’re weak—you are more than a conqueror.

That is a very important topic Willie.. Especially for students who suffer from bullying at schools.. Bad behaviour of some people May lead to frustration and loss of self trust sometimes.. Thanks for the reminder… Keep giving dear 🌸

Very true. The bad behaviour of some individuals can lead to frustration and a loss of self-trust, which can have lasting impacts on a young person’s self-esteem and emotional well-being.

In such circumstances, students should remember that their worth is not defined by the hurtful words or actions of others. Responding to bullying with love and compassion, as challenging as it may be, can help maintain inner strength and resilience. Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:44, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” remind us of the power of love over hate.

Students should be encouraged to seek support from trusted adults, friends, and counsellors. Building a network of understanding and supportive individuals can provide the necessary strength to withstand bullying. It’s also essential to practice self-compassion and engage in activities that foster self-confidence and joy.
      Regards.

I completely agree—bullying can deeply impact a young person’s self-esteem and emotional well-being. Having endured bullying myself, and seeing my youngest son go through it too, I can identify with how tough it can be.

Reminding students that their worth isn’t defined by others’ hurtful actions is crucial. Responding with love and compassion, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44, can help maintain inner strength. It’s also important for them to seek support from trusted adults and friends, and to engage in activities that build self-confidence and joy.

Thanks again for your insight and encouragement.

    Dear Willie,
Your perspective on responding to persecution, judgment, or ridicule with love and compassion is deeply inspiring. It takes tremendous strength and courage to react with kindness in the face of negativity. By choosing love over anger, we elevate ourselves and set a powerful example for others. This approach not only helps us maintain our inner peace but also has the potential to transform hearts and minds around us.

Your commitment to forgiveness and unconditional love highlights the profound impact of empathy and understanding. It’s a reminder that our true strength lies in our ability to remain loving and compassionate, regardless of the circumstances. By embodying these values, we contribute to a more peaceful and hopeful world, demonstrating that love indeed has the power to conquer all forms of negativity.

Your message is a beautiful testament to the enduring power of love and the importance of leading by example. Keep spreading this light, for it has the capacity to inspire and uplift countless others.
Jesus’ teachings resonate beautifully with this philosophy. In Matthew 5:44, He says, “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” This profound advice encourages us to transcend our natural instincts for retaliation and instead respond with love and prayer.

Jesus further emphasizes this in Luke 6:27–28: “But to you who are listening, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.” These words remind us that our response to negativity should be rooted in goodness and compassion, reflecting the strength and depth of our love.

Your post is a beautiful testament to the enduring power of love and the importance of leading by example. Keep spreading this light, for it has the capacity to inspire and uplift countless others.

    Regards.

I also appreciate how you brought in Jesus’ teachings from Matthew 5:44 and Luke 6:27-28. His advice to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us shows us that love is a powerful way to overcome negativity and make a positive difference in the world.

Our instinctive response is often to react immediately. As prideful beings, we tend to respond hastily with anger, driven by a desire for respect and to prove ourselves right. We forget to pause, listen, and empathize. I admit, I’ve fallen into this trap myself. I’m striving to learn the art of being still, listening attentively. It’s a challenging journey, but with God’s guidance and instructions, I believe we can achieve all things.

Carrying the crosses that come with people second guessing us, criticizing our authenticity, questioning by whose authority we speak, undermining the validity of the Truth which we proclaim (I prefer proclaiming the Gospel message to preaching the Gospel message) is our home court advantage, Willie. It’s the territory – as uncomfortable as it may be – where we need to grow tough skin and become comfortable. The Lord is counting on us, Willie, to be the missionary disciples that He is calling us to be! Next…….

I’m Willie

Hello and Welcome to my Website.
My name is William Torres, but my family and friends call me Willie. It is a pleasure to be here with you today, and I am excited to share my faith journey with you.

My journey has been amazing and fulfilling as a new Christian. I have seen God work in my life in ways I never could have imagined. I have grown closer to my faith and have seen Him work in my life and the lives of those around me. I am truly blessed to call myself a Christian, and I am excited to continue to grow in my faith.

I believe that I have come a long way in life. Over the years, I have worked hard to become a better man, husband to Frances Torres, and father to our children. I have strived to be a good friend and companion to those I have been fortunate to build relationships with. I have learned to appreciate the small moments of joy and fulfillment that come with every human connection.

I began writing stories that I believe were inspired by the Holy Spirit. These stories are my testimonies about the different trials I have gone through, and how the Lord has helped me to overcome them. Through this process, I’ve discovered that I can forgive those I once vowed to never forgive, and in turn, my relationships with them have been restored. They are now a huge blessing and a special part of my life.

I hope that through my writing I can be a source of encouragement to other people in their faith and relationship with the Lord. I pray that those who read my words will be blessed by the Lord and find strength and comfort in His Word.

To be honest, I have had to come to terms with the fact that I am not perfect, but it is in this place of acceptance that I am able to truly worship a God who is. His infinite love brings me joy, strength, and peace, and I am thankful for the privilege of being able to serve Him.

I have also started a Social Media Ministry on Facebook, which I invite you to visit here. Being Crazy For Christ is a platform where I share my journey of faith, and I am also on YouTube – Willie Torres Jr. and I am excited to see all that God will do through it.

This is my hope, and I’m so thankful for it. I’m thankful for the love of Jesus, and I’m thankful for the chance to grow in Him together with you.

You Are Loved
